Phantom Blade Zero Boss List

Every trophy boss in the order the game gives them to you — plus the optional fights and hidden opponents that sit between them. Open any boss to see where it is, what it drops and which trophy it awards.

The short answer

Phantom Blade Zero has 19 trophy bosses across 7 regions. Fourteen of them sit on the main story path, one is hidden inside the Crimson Manor, and four are group fights that award a single trophy for clearing every member. That is the number of opponents you must actually beat for the Platinum — the rest of the trophy list is quests, collectibles and weapon upgrades.

  • →Nineteen bosses award a trophy. The Platinum requires all of them.
  • →Most are story encounters. Five are optional, one is hidden, and four are multi-opponent group fights.
  • →Eight side quests can fail permanently, and the true ending is tied to them — that is the nine achievements you can lose.
  • →Several bosses must be beaten in a specific order, because skipping a quest locks it out for the rest of the run.

Fight order

The list is sorted the way the game presents them, not alphabetically. Open any entry for the region it appears in and whether it is required.

Trophy link

Every boss entry names the exact trophy it awards, including the Steam and PlayStation wording where they differ.

Missable warnings

Bosses that can lock out a quest show the failure condition in bold, so you know when to back up your save.

Which order to fight them in

Most of the game can be played in whatever order you like, but a handful of encounters gate side quests. The rule that matters: clear every side quest in an area before you push the main story past it. Once the final boss is down you can still go back for collectibles, but a failed quest stays failed — your only option is an earlier save.

Group fights count as one trophy

Four trophies each cover several opponents: the three Shadow Wardens, the four Great Puppets, the Two Blade Masters, and You Loong together with Yan Qiansui and the One-Eyed Archer. You cannot claim them by defeating one member. You Loong appears twice — in Pangzhen and again at Meigu Lake — and only the lake fight counts for the cross-platform trophy “Master of the Misty Waters”, while the Steam-exclusive “Turning the Tide” needs both.
